TUFS Students win in the 64th Tokyo District Public University Karate Tournament

On Sunday 12 th June 2016, the TUFS Karate Club participated in the Tokyo District Public University Karate Tournament held at the University of Electro-Communications. TUFS Karate Club achieved excellent results in the kata category, winning first place in the men's group category and being runners up in the women's group category. In addition, NAMBA Rui (School of Language and Culture Studies Filipino language first year student) won first place in the women's individual category.

In the Kumite category, the women's group this year was the first to win the tournament since the club was established, and the men's group was the first to place as a runner up in 16 years
